1. Collection and use of personal data
You can visit our site without providing any personal information. We only store access data without personal reference such as the name of your Internet service provider, date and time of the request, name of the requested file, page from which the file was requested, access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), web browser and operating system used, complete IP address of the requesting computer, transferred data volume. These data are evaluated exclusively to improve our offer and for reasons of technical security, in particular to prevent attempts to attack our web server and do not allow any conclusion to your person.
Legal basis of the storage is § 15 TMG and Article 6 lit. f) DSGVO.
Personal data (such as name, company, address, telephone number and e-mail address) are only collected if you provide them to us voluntarily in the context of your contact enquiry. We use the data provided by you without your separate consent exclusively for the fulfilment and processing of your request. Upon complete processing of your request, your data will be blocked for further use and (if necessary after expiry of the tax and commercial retention periods, currently ten years) deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data.
2. Contact form
When you contact Multivac via a contact form on the Multivac website, the data you provide is stored so that your message can be forwarded to the right contact person. This is done in accordance with Article 6 lit b) DSGVO for processing your request. Your data provided via a contact form will not be used for any other purposes, especially not for advertising. After answering your inquiry we will delete your inquiry and the related personal data.
On various pages we use so-called "cookies" in order to make the visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are stored on your computer.
Most of the cookies we use are deleted from your hard disk at the end of the browser session (so-called "session cookies").
Other cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your computer on your next visit (so-called "permanent cookies"). These cookies make it unnecessary, for example, to refill forms with your data.
4. Web analysis services (provider Google)
In view of the discussion about the use of analysis tools with complete IP addresses, we would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and therefore IP addresses are only processed further in abbreviated form in order to exclude direct personal reference.
5. Remarketing (provider Google)
This website uses the remarketing function of Google Inc. "("Google"). This function is used to present interest-based ads to visitors to the site as part of the Google advertising network. The visitor's browser stores so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and which make it possible to recognize the visitor when he or she visits websites belonging to Google's advertising network. These pages may then present advertisements to the visitor relating to content previously accessed by the visitor on websites that use Google's remarketing function. According to its own statements, Google does not collect any personal data in this process.
However, if you do not wish to use Google's remarketing feature, you can always deactivate it by making the appropriate settings at www.google.com/settings/ads
Exclude from remarketing
Disable interest-based advertising
6. Remarketing (provider LinkedIn)
Linked In Conversion Tracking: On our website we use the analysis and conversion tracking technology of the LinkedIn platform. With the aforementioned LinkedIn technology, you can see more relevant advertising based on your interests. LinkedIn also provides us with aggregated and anonymous reports of ad activity and information about how you interact with our website. Further information on data protection at LinkedIn can be found here: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig. You can object to the analysis of your usage behaviour by LinkedIn and the display of interest-based recommendations ("Opt-Out"); click on the field "Reject on LinkedIn" (for LinkedIn members) or "Reject" (for other users) under the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out.
7. Embedded YouTube videos
On some of our websites we embed YouTube videos. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plug-ins. When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to Youtube servers is established. Youtube will be informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your Youtube account, Youtube can assign your surfing behavior to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
If you have deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program, you will not have to reckon with such cookies when viewing YouTube videos. Youtube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you want to prevent this, you must block the saving of cookies in your browser.
Further information on data protection at "Youtube" can be found in the provider's data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/
8. Data security
We protect our website and other systems by technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons.
9. Web analysis services (provider Funnelytics)
10. Web analysis services (provider Mautic)
MARKETING AUTOMATION WITH MAUTIC
On this website we use "Mautic" as open source tool for marketing automation. This is a tool for the real-time output of accurate information based on the collection and analysis of usage data (including browser type, last visited page, duration of stay).
Mautic is hosted by us on specially operated servers. The data will not be passed on to third parties. We collect and process data with Mautic only to the extent that is reasonable and necessary to achieve our business objectives.
Our use of Mautic can (but does not have to) include:
a) Tailored website content
We try to estimate your interests based on the above mentioned usage data in the best possible way and on this basis present you relevant website content in TYPO3 ("targeting").
b) E-mail marketing and campaigns
With so-called e-mail marketing, personalised e-mails are sent to you. These are partly based on the usage behaviour on our websites when reading our e-mails and interacting with the links contained therein. We also send e-mails as part of campaigns. The sending of such e-mails is always based on a separate consent.
c) Landing pages
Landing pages are special websites that have been defined as the target of advertising campaigns. They usually contain interaction features, e.g. for downloading whitepapers or checklists and forms for entering personal information. The software uses various technical procedures to assign individual activities to anonymous profiles or - with prior consent - to the profiles of individual users:
c) Tracking Pixel
Mautic uses so-called tracking pixels to detect whether, for example, an e-mail has been opened. These pixels are used to load a small graphic from the provider's server that was previously assigned to an individual user profile.
d) Personalized Web Links
In order to recognize whether, for example, a user is calling a link from an e-mail, mautic adds a unique identifier to these links, which was previously assigned to an individual user profile.
The data collected is this:
- the activity on our website
- Number of page views and length of stay of the website visitor
- the click path of the respective visitor
- Downloads of files provided via the website
- Visits from Landingpages
- Opening e-mails from newsletters and campaigns
The IP address currently used by website visitors is transmitted to us each time our website is accessed. Mautic only stores these anonymously.
Mautic is only used for personalisation if you have explicitly agreed to this. You can revoke this consent at any time by contacting the contact person named by us in this data protection declaration. In this case, all tracking data collected using Mautic will be deleted immediately.
11. Your rights
- You have the right to be informed at any time about the data stored concerning your person, its origin and recipient as well as the purpose of data processing. Please contact the Multivac data protection officer.
- Contradiction (market research)
You can object to the future processing of the data concerning you in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO at any time. The objection may be lodged in particular against processing for direct marketing purposes. Please send a short e-mail to email@example.com (it does not have to contain a reason).
- Revocation of consent (e.g. newsletter dispatch)
You can revoke your consent for Multivac to use your personal data, for example to send you a newsletter, at any time. If you wish to revoke your consent to receive the newsletter, please click on the link "Unsubscribe newsletter" in one of the received newsletter e-mails at the very bottom. In all other cases, please contact Multivac's data protection officer.
- Your other rights
You have the right to correct or delete or to limit the processing of your personal data, a right of objection to future processing and a right to data transferability.
- Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State where you are staying, working or suspected of infringing, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you is contrary to data protection rules.
12. Competent supervisory authority
You can also contact the responsible supervisory authority of Multivac, the Bavarian Data Protection Authority, Promenade 27 (Schloss), 91522 Ansbach, Germany, phone +49 (0) 981 53 1300, fax +49 (0) 981 53 98 1300, https://www.lda.bayern.de, e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org in the event of complaints regarding the use of your personal data.
